I own 18 of these Drives
I used to run a video production company that generated a ton of data. We used only Fantom Drives for all of our long term storage and a decent amount of our editing work as well. They are hands down the most dependable drives that I've ever used, and the most affordable.
I have purchased and used 18 Fantom Drives over the past two years. Most of these drives are 2 TB USB/eSATA drives but I have used several of the firewire variations as well. I have yet to have a single file get corrupted or have a drive die on me.
They are the only hard drives I'll buy now, hope they serve you just as well!
